You link up two of your friends and tease them just for fun. Both of them know that any amount of asking won’t stop you from teasing, so they simply keep quiet and laugh with you when you tease them.
One of the common friends notices you teasing them and also their smiling without any apprehensions and thinks that there is something actually brewing between those two.
God forbid, if that common friend is a girl, you can witness more melodrama in college than in any of the ekta kapoor serials !
more questions would be asked than any inspector interrogating a suspect!
more accusations would be thrown than any pestering girlfriend would!
more high-pitch voice(s) could be heard than the decibel levels that old women touch while quarreling!
“You were teasing them, I saw it with my own eyes. Why din’t you tell me? Why din’tthey tell me !?
Am I the last one to know in the group ? Since when is this thing going on between them !? Where was I when it started ? Why din’t THEY tell me ?!!? “
And the irony is, when you confess the truth that there is nothing between them and that you were teasing them just for fun, the only reply that you’d get from the girl is, “Fine! So you don’t want to tell me!! Okay!! I WON’T ASK!! What for me !! You guys don’t consider me a friend only I guess !! That’s why you hid it from me all the time and even now you are hiding it. FINE!!!!!” and she would walk away in anger.
